What makes seamless gutters better?

Traditional sectional gutter has a joint every ten feet, and every joint is a future leak. Seamless gutter is rolled on site to the exact length of your roofline, so the only seams are at corners and downspout outlets.

Do I need 5-inch or 6-inch gutters?

It depends on the roof area draining into each run and the pitch of the roof. Steep or large roof planes shed water fast and often need 6-inch gutter with oversized downspouts. We size it from the actual measurements rather than defaulting to whatever's on there now.

Are gutter guards worth it?

If you have mature trees near the house, yes — they cut cleaning frequency dramatically and prevent the clogs that cause ice dams. On a home with no overhanging trees the payback is much smaller, and we'll tell you so.

Can you match my existing gutter colour?

We stock a wide range of aluminium coil colours and can usually get a close or exact match. If you're replacing only part of the system we'll show you the match before we roll anything.

Will you fix the rotted board behind my gutter?

Yes, and we'd insist on it. Hanging new gutter on soft fascia means the hangers pull loose within a couple of seasons. We replace the damaged fascia as part of the job.

How do gutters affect my foundation?

A 2,000 sq ft roof sheds roughly 1,250 gallons in a single inch of rain. Dumped at the foundation, that water saturates the soil, freezes, expands and puts pressure on your basement walls. Routed properly, it's a non-issue.
